What happens at check-in?
When you arrive, you will complete any new-patient paperwork and the team will verify your insurance and contact information. Arriving a little early leaves time for this.
What will we talk about?
Your provider will ask about your health history, current symptoms or concerns, medications, lifestyle, and goals. This conversation helps build a picture of your overall health.
Will there be an exam or tests?
Your provider may do a physical exam and may recommend labs or screenings based on your age, history, and risk factors. Not every visit includes the same tests.
What happens when the visit ends?
You will leave with clear next steps, whether that is a follow-up appointment, lab work, a screening, or simply a plan for staying healthy. Feel free to ask questions at any point.
