Is a yearly visit recommended?
For most adults, a yearly wellness visit or physical is a common recommendation. It keeps your provider current on your health and catches changes early.
Does my schedule depend on my health?
Yes. If you have chronic conditions, are on certain medications, or have specific risk factors, your provider may recommend more frequent visits. If you are generally healthy, yearly may be enough.
What about children and teens?
Children and teens have their own recommended well-child visit schedule. Your provider can advise what is appropriate for your child's age and development.
When should I schedule?
If it has been more than a year since your last checkup, or you are due for screenings or vaccines, now is a good time to reach out. You do not need to be experiencing symptoms.
